On occasion, it may be necessary to set an order aside before it is completed and/or uploaded. FTPhoto makes it possible to do this without having to start over when the program is next run.

From the File menu, select "Save Order." In the dialog that appears, select the location where you want to save the order information. The order data are put in a file which, by default, is named "North Coast Photographic Services FTP Order." You may give this file a custom name if you wish.

To retrieve the order when FTPhoto is run again, choose "Import Order" from the File menu. Select the "North Coast Photographic Services FTP Order" file (or the file having your custom name.) Once imported, the order can be edited as always.

Some users may have image files from which they make recurrent orders that are identical or similar. In this case, it may be desirable to save an order to use as a template. Saving must be done before uploading starts.

Note: FTPhoto always saves temporary data of an order, and recognizes when a transmission has been successful. If an upload fails or is incomplete, for reasons such as network trouble, a crash or the program being quit prematurely, this data will automatically reload the next time FTPhoto is launched.
