Film Processing and Scanning

North Coast photo offers film processing by mail, so mail us your 35mm, 120, and sheet film and we will process (develop) scan and send your film back to you.

Options for digital file download are available.

Black and White, Color Negative C41 and Positive Slide film E6.

*The total cost is based on services selected. Scanning and prints are additional to the cost of processing.

STEP 1:

Process Film

Here at The Great American Photo Lab, we process your film in our Hostert Dip and Dunk machines. The machines are meticulously maintained for quality and consistency. For black and white film we use Clayton chemistry. For C41 color negative and E6 color positive film, we use Fuji chemistry.

STEP 2:

add scanning and/or prints

We scan and print your negatives using the digital wet-lab Noritsu QSS system. Our expert technicians look at every frame, adjusting density and color for the best possible scan and/or print.

We offer two types of scan service; the "Ken Rockwell" Enhanced Scan is our largest file, approximately 11x17 at 300dpi. The Budget scan is approximately 8x12 at 300dpi.

Prices are for scanning the film at the time of processing. Scanning of uncut, already processed film is 50% additional.

STEP 3:

How do you want your film packaged and returned to you?

Film is returned uncut, sleeved in plastic and rolled.

If you would like us to cut and page your film it is $1.95 additional per roll. (included in Enhanced Scanning service)
